We are committed to advocating anti-racist practices, community resources, and communication in strategic partnership with our village committees and board; police and emergency personnel; and leadership. We will advocate for the full application of the resolution; promote the engagement of community members in village board meetings, committees, and elections; and work to hold the village board, police and emergency personnel, and leadership accountable for demonstrating anti-racist values in their mission, priorities, goals and everyday practice in service to the citizens and village community. In all of our work, we will first center the voices and perspectives of people of color and support their needs.
